Dr. Ram Kumar Mishra is the founder and President of the Management and Social Science Research Centre (MSSRC). A former Director, Senior Professor, and ONGC Subir Raha Chair Professor of Corporate Governance at the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Osmania University Campus, he is one of India's foremost scholars in corporate governance, state-owned enterprises, ESG management, and public policy.

Dr. Mishra is an Extraordinary Professor at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and serves as Vice-President of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), Brussels. He is HR Ambassador for India at the Academy of Management, USA, and a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award conferred by the Hon'ble Vice-President of India.

His research spans over four decades at IPE, during which he built and sustained one of India's most respected management institutions. He has served as a Non-official Director on the Boards of several Government of India Central Public Sector Enterprises including NLCIL, BDL, MIDHANI, and FACT, and as a Member of the ESG Programs Review Board of the International Chamber of Sustainable Development (ICSD), Hong Kong.

Dr. Mishra holds a PhD in Economic Administration and Financial Management from the School of Commerce, Rajasthan University, and an ITP from SDA Bocconi, Milan. He has presented research at the Academy of Management Annual Conferences in Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia; at the OECD Asia Network on Corporate Governance in Macau; and at major international forums organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

His publications include over 60 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, 17 authored books, and 6 edited volumes, published by Springer, Routledge, OECD Publishing, Cambridge Scholar Publishing, Emerald, and Academic Foundation. His most recent edited volume, Corporate Strategy for ESG Management (Excel India Publishers, 2026), was endorsed by the Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India.
